Creative Assistant Application

I'm looking for a creative, adaptable, and motivated individual to help support a growing metro-Detroit-based creative studio. As the business continues to grow, I'm excited to bring someone alongside me who is eager to learn, contribute ideas, and gain hands-on experience in the creative industry.

This isn't your typical assistant position. No two days are the same. One day you might be helping paint custom artwork, the next filming content, creating Procreate mockups, researching partnership opportunities, assembling PR packages, assisting with a mural installation, or brainstorming the next big idea.

The role offers exposure to a variety of creative and business disciplines, including:

Art and design

Content creation and social media

Video editing and photography

Sports and brand partnerships

Client outreach and business development

Influencer PR and product launches

Live events and mural installations

Creative strategy and entrepreneurship

I'm not looking for someone who knows everything. I'm looking for someone who is curious, dependable, proactive, and excited to wear multiple hats. Experience in art, Procreate, video editing, content creation, social media, and marketing is important, but there will also be plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

One of my goals for this role is mentorship. I'll share the tools, systems, and lessons I've learned while building my career as a full-time artist and entrepreneur, while creating opportunities for you to develop your own creative and professional skills.

This is a flexible, part-time position with hours varying based on project needs and studio workload. I'm looking for someone to build with...not just work for me!
