I didn’t directly grow up in Detroit, but Detroit has always felt like a part of my story.

My dad and his family grew up here, and they would tell me nonstop stories about what the city was like when they were younger. How the teams were good, how the energy was electric, how Detroit sports felt larger than life and those stories always stuck with me. Even before I experienced it myself, I understood how deeply sports were tied to the soul of this city.

And then last year… that energy came back, and I actually got to be a part of so many key moments.

The Lions almost making it to the Super Bowl and getting to create a cleat for the Detroit NFL Draft. The Pistons making the playoffs and creating custom tees for the players and their families. The Tigers’ Tarik Skubal winning Cy Young, painting cleats for him and other players.

Everything began to feel limitless for the city and for myself as an artist.

You could feel the shift. The pride was louder, the excitement was deeper, the city felt connected in a way I’d only ever heard about through those family stories.

It wasn’t that Detroit disappeared… It’s that Detroit never left. The people never changed. They were just patiently waiting for their teams to rise again.

That energy, that loyalty, that feeling of the whole community waking back up is EXACTLY what inspired me to create drop with my art.

THE STORY BEHIND SPORT CITY

The whole point of this collection is to celebrate all the teams & to create something you can wear to any game, any season, any arena. A universal Detroit hoodie if you will.

Sport City is my way of celebrating the heartbeat of Detroit sports culture: the fans, the families, the traditions, the neighborhoods, the generations who lived through the highs, stayed through the lows, and came alive again when the city started winning.

Even though my own journey didn’t start in Detroit, my dad’s did. 

My artistic journey did too.

I used to sell my art at my dad’s Save a Lot grocery stores in the city as a kid, and that eventually led to me being blessed enough at study at the College for Creative Studies with some of the most talented artists in the world. 

I started a business at 18; vending at events across the state of Michigan, getting involved in sneaker culture, and most importantly connecting with people, and tapping into the city’s style. 

All of this culminated into this drop.

THE COLLECTION

If there’s one thing you’ll know about me, it’s that I’m all about quality.
Everything in this drop is unisex and rooted in street-style influence.

Each piece is embroidered and printed locally to further emphasize the importance of loyalty to the community.

When people ask for something, you listen. New to my wearable art, the crews have a full graphic on the front, plain back in black.

Tees

Mid-weight, everyday staples that carry the identity of the drop in natural and black.

Hats

My personal favorite because they’re minimal & neutral but strong. Each team’s animal is present, paired with the word Detroit, a quiet nod to the city’s bold personality and the collection’s branding.

Everything is designed to feel lived-in, elevated, and timeless.
